The Joint Aircraft Survivability Program Office (JASPO) will host the 2015 Joint Aircraft Survivability (JAS) Program Review (JPR) at SOUTHCOM - The Conference Center of the Americas in Doral, FL, from 22 to 24 Sept 2015.  The purpose of the review is to facilitate dialogue on aviation survivability between the S&T, acquisition, industry and operational communities. This will be achieved by presenting a technical overview of the JASP/JLF-Air FY15 projects and informing the aviation community of our efforts.

During the three days, project briefings will include info on Vulnerability Reduction, JLF-Aircraft Systems testing, Survivability Assessment and Susceptibility Reduction.  In addition to project briefings, briefings on intelligence developments relevant to aircraft survivability, aircraft combat survivability education efforts at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), the Air Force Institute for Technology (AFIT) and the Joint Combat Assessment Team (JCAT).

Access to the Engineering Office Building (EOB):

Entry to the facility will be through our main gate, guests will stop at the Security Post for check in.  Once guests are verified on the list for the conference the Security Officer will direct them to the main Engineering Office Building (EOB) for guest parking and entry into the main lobby.

There, each guest will need to present their identification with proof of U.S. Citizenship for registration.  Once registration is complete each guest will be escorted to the Conference Center where you will be required to sign in at the JASPO Registration Desk.

Northbound on I-95
Exit at Blue Heron Blvd (Exit 76) and turn left (west); proceed until Blue Heron merges right onto Beeline Hwy (SR710). Proceed approximately 15 miles to Pratt & Whitney entrance on left (the first light past Pratt & Whitney Rd).

Northbound on Turnpike
Exit at Palm Beach Gardens - PGA Blvd (Exit 109) and turn right (west); proceed to Beeline Hwy (SR710). Turn right and proceed approximately 8 miles to Pratt & Whitney entrance on left (the first light past Pratt & Whitney Rd.)

Southbound I-95
Exit at Indiantown Rd - SR706 (Exit 87B), turn right (west). Proceed to Pratt & Whitney Road (SR711); turn left. Proceed to Beeline Hwy (SR710); turn right. Entrance to Pratt & Whitney is 3/4 mile down on the lefthand side.

Southbound on Turnpike

Approved forms of credentials are: 

  • DoD issued CAC Cards for Military, Civilians  & Contractors
  • All other I.D. cards from Industry can be use with a Passport or a copy of your Birth Certificate
  • An original U.S. passport
  • Original U.S. Birth Certificate and Photo I.D.
  • Certification of Birth Abroad (Form FS-545) and Photo I.D.
  • Certificate of Naturalization (INS Form N-550 or N-570) and Photo I.D.
  • Alien Registration Card I-551 (Green Card) can be provided to confirm U.S. person status with Photo I.D.

Tour Requirements while on our campus:

  • The UTC Pratt & Whitney campus is tobacco free.
  • Guests are required to wear closed toe, low heeled shoes
    (high heeled shoes will not be permitted).
  • Safety glasses are mandatory and will be provided on the tour (if one is required).
  • Ear protection will be provided if engines are running during tour (if required).
  • Photography of any kind is prohibited while on campus. 

**If a photo is taken with a mobile phone it will be collected by security and not returned**
