The U.S. Air Force is on a mission to invent the future for 2030 and beyond. As our adversaries close the technology gap, the U.S. needs to push the boundaries of what is possible in the areas of science and technology in order to defend America.
In September 2017, Secretary of the U.S. Air Force Heather Wilson launched an initiative to update the Air Force's science and technology strategy. Over the course of a year, the Air Force will listen and learn from the scientific community, higher education and business professionals through a series of conversations and outreach events.

On 26 April, the University of South Florida, located in Tampa, FL., will be hosting a workshop for the scientific community, academia, and business professionals in the Southeast region to present ideas and facilitate conversation regarding Air Force technology advancement.
