Christine D. Knott
CHRISTINE D. KNOTT is a chemical engineer at NSWC-IHEODTD, where she serves as a gun propellant formulations and process development engineer. She is responsible for developing formulations, mostly nitramine and nitrocellulose-based, where she is regarded as a nationally recognized expert. She is also responsible for processing methods for most new propellants used in gun systems for the U.S. Navy and Army and for gas generators and various other Navy applications. Ms. Knott holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and chemistry from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
