GREGORY DICOMO is a research scientist at NRL’s Plasma Physics Division. He has studied the propagation and applications of continuous-wave lasers and USPLs, including incoherent beam combining, thermal blooming, and laser power beaming. His recent research has concentrated on the nonlinear propagation of short laser pulses in matter. He holds a B.S. in physics from the College of William and Mary and an M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland. Mr. DiComo is currently pursuing his Ph.D.
