MICHAEL THOMAS WRIGHT, a subject matter expert in fire control for mortars and artillery, works at the Mortars and Common Fire Control Division of the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development & Engineering Center, Picatinny, NJ. He is responsible for the Azimuth Testing Laboratory and is APO for the Weaponized Universal Lightweight Fire Control system. He plans, directs, and coordinates technical programs related to the design, development, and application of advanced north finding and fire control systems. His efforts include developing a broad range of fire control systems, software applications, and north finding sensors. Mr. Wright holds a B.S. in computer engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an M.S. in management and an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology.
