Robert Haynes

Robert Haynes is a research aerospace engineer at ARL. His primary research focus is in damage tolerance of composite materials. His other research efforts include structural optimization, multiscale modeling, and additive manufacturing using three-dimensional printing techniques. Before joining ARL in 2011, he served as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Haynes holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Tech Institute of Technology.
