Terrence Johnson is a senior postdoctoral fellow at ARL, focusing on topology optimization, additive manufacturing, and fatigue. His background includes conducting basic research in blast-mitigation structures, composite shafts, shape-changing rotor blades, and compliant mechanisms. Dr. Johnson holds a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and Penn State, respectively, as well as a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from Penn State.
