National Materials Information System (NAMIS) Database

NAMIS is an integrated system providing a variety of technical information to the materials community.

To initiate your request for access to the NAMIS database simply click the Request Database button below. An inquiry analyst will reach out shortly to request the following documentation and assist with your request.

You are encouraged to prepare the following documenation now to expedite this process.

  • Contractors
  1. NAMISSubscriptionRequest_Jan2021
  2. A copy of your organizations DD Form 2345. (This is required because the database contains export-controlled data.)
  3. A letter certifying that you are an employee of the company and a citizen of the United States on company letterhead.

  • Government

BROWSER/DATABASE REQUIREMENTS

• NAMIS requires that you have Adobe Reader, at a minimum, installed on your machine to view the documents in the database.
