What technical documentation is available on AWARS, COMBAT XXI, and Logistics Battle Command that describes the models' inputs and outputs?
DSIAC staff performed open-source and DTIC Research and Engineering (R&E) Gateway searches and reviewed documents for relevant information on data inputs and outputs for the various models, including AWARS, COMBAT XXI, and Logistics Battle Command. After reviewing initial information, it was determined that the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Analysis Center (TRAC) is the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) organization responsible for developing and managing the subject models. A request was sent to TRAC for validation of the model manager contacts and documents/links to documents containing up-to-date descriptions of the model data inputs and outputs. A summary of the findings and a DTIC bibliography were provided to the requester.
