What efforts focus on eVTOL aircraft and the potential for noise reduction of rotary-wing vehicles?

As part of the ongoing DSIAC technology scanning program, DSIAC staff reviewed rotary-wing noise reduction efforts associated with the Vertical Flight Society (VFS), formerly the American Helicopter Society (AHS), Inc.  A short synopsis of the program and other information was compiled for distribution.  The noise reduction and eVTOL systems information could potentially be useful for rotary-wing acoustic signature reduction during ingress and egress, logistics resupply, personnel extraction, and other operations.
