How can neuromorphic computing be applicable to UAS navigation and sensing?

Fully addressing the scope of this inquiry request extends beyond a standard technical inquiry time allocation (4 hours); however, DSIAC research specialists we were able to perform DTIC R&E Gateway and open source searches for neuromorphic related reports and articles; groups with neuromorphic computing related laboratories and programs; and use of neuromorphic computing within the gaming industry.  Additionally, DSIAC Subject Matter Experts were contacted and asked to provide input on neuromorphic computing in the areas of size, weight, and power (SWaP); technology maturity; development of practical software applications; use within the gaming community; and use for guidance, navigation and control of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). A cumulative response was developed and delivered to the inquirer.
