UAS Imagery Data Across Multiple Spectral Bands
Who has collected UAS imagery data that can be used to train object detection and UAS identification algorithms?
DSIAC staff responded to a technical inquiry for assistance in locating Group 1 and 2 unmanned aerial systems (UAS) imagery data sets correlated across multiple spectral bands needed to train object detection and UAS identification algorithms. DSIAC staff were familiar with several potential sources and contacted numerous organizations for information such as the Joint Integrated & Air Defense Missile Organization (JIAMDO) Black Dart Program Manager, Joint Deployment Analysis Team (JDAT), Eglin Signatures Data Center (ESDC), Guided Weapons Evaluation Center (GWEF), Dynamic Infrared Missile Evaluation (DIME) Lab, Georgia Technical Research Institute (GTRI) and West Virginia University Innovation Corporation (WVUIC). Information on available data and points-of-contact were provided, as well as a JIAMDO Black Dart briefing on participating electro-opitcal/infrared (EO/IR) imagery systems that may have collected the needed data and contacts for each system.
