UH-1Y Cabin Area Measurements

DSIAC staff reviewed available documentation on the UH-1Y, including original equipment manufacturer (OEM) brochures, data sheets, pocket guides, drawings, etc., as well as available service diagrams, flight manuals, checklists, etc. However, DSIAC was unable to find the requested data and therefore contacted the NAVAIR National Help Desk and In-Service Support Center Cherry Point to submit a Warfighter Request for assistance finding UH-1Y engineering support contacts within the Navy Fleet Readiness Center-East, NAVAIR AIR-4.3.1 Division, and Naval Air Warfare Center-Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) Distance Support Branch (AIR-6.7.5.6). These agencies provided additional data and scaled drawings for review; however, they still did not contain the desired data.  Finally, DSIAC coordinated with Fleet Readiness Center-East (FRC-East) to send a structural engineer to the aircraft to collect the desired data and supporting photographs. This data was provided to the requester.
